The founder, Ivan Chen, comes from a background of electronics, informatics, engineering science, law, corporate management, etc., and has many years of academic and practical experience.
The patent, trademark and law office was established utilizing over a decade of experience from working in-house and practical experience in patent infringement litigation, with the aim of being the invisible aim to corporations’ patent and legal departments. Steadily, offices were established in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung. Furthermore, Beijing and Wuhan offices were set up across the strait on the basis of clients’ requests and trust to satisfy the needs of the clients within the Chinese market,
By 2010, employees in the Taiwan area have reached over 100. Among them, many are patent attorneys and trademark attorneys. In addition, many among the employees in Taiwan have doctorates, and over 90% have masters qualifications or above, while the remainder have bachelors qualifications or above. Over two-thirds of employees are fluent in two or more language, with a number of employees of U.S., U.K., Hong Kong and Korea nationalities.
In 2012, AIPT established integrated services for legal, accounting, intellectual property and other regulatory certification services, and since June 2012 has begun recruiting with high salaries first-rate Chinese attorneys across China to provide domestic and international clients with outstanding services.
In 2013 and 2014, AIPT was honored as a Silver firm by WTR and was also ranked as the highest patent electronic filer by Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO). In addition, AIPT became one of the designated firms for Top 10 Global Companies.
AIPT’s headquarters is currently located in Zhonghe District in New Taipei City. Apart from 7 large offices across Taiwan and China, Taipei’s AIPT Patent, Trademark & Law Office also work cooperatively with patent, safety certification, trademark, law, accounting firms in over 100 countries to provide clients with global solutions. Since the founder believes that the only way to continuously provide clients all over the world with better service is to have partners globally, and the reputation built will enable the AIPT brand to eternally shine.
